In communications, the whole usually exceeds the sum of the parts. We believe that we deliver the greatest value to clients when we create a thematic, strategic marketing effort or campaign that infuses multiple touch points into the conversation. That may run the gamut from creative services – logo design, web site development and advertising – to generating media coverage, to planning gala events or organizing small groups of influencers for focused business discussions.

Our solutions are strategic and customized. Whether your objectives require crafting messages, connecting with the right people or executing on the smallest details that can make or break an event or program, our clients will tell you we have a knack for getting it right.

We typically engage with clients on an ongoing basis and enjoy long-term relationships. This allows us to fully understand and appreciate a client’s business and the nuances of their market – seasonality, changes to the competitive landscape, changes in leadership, or unforeseen crises – and adjust our strategies accordingly.

We prefer to work on a fixed project fee or retainer basis; we don’t like to “watch the clock” and don’t want you to have to either.  That said, after three decades of being in business, we know that relationships are built on trust, respect and value, and we work with our clients to design a program and budget that meet our mutual needs and expectations.

What our clients have to say (in their own words)

Ernest Sanchez

The MacKenzie team acts as a true partner with the SF Bay Ferry. They provide counsel, execution, Big Ideas, and have helped us engage with our customers, particularly using social media. Their team has been especially helpful in crisis situations, such as the BART strike or Bay Bridge closure, working long hours without missing a beat. I value their contributions and their role as our communications advisors.
